Don't Give Up, the Beginning is Always the Hardest!

Hola!
This post is entirely dedicated to beginners! Obviously getting used to a new activity in your daily life is interesting and you would want to make sure you know what your doing in order to not look like a fool. Well, you will eventually look back and be like, "ohh yeah I was doing that so wrong!" I would know from experience! Anyway, just like the title, the beginning is always the hardest and that's what could motivated you!

To begin, you just have to start with something your familiar in, something your very good at. That is because you will learn a little about how things work at the gym. Everything will take its time. Once you decide on your strengths, find something you want to improve upon, and start moving in that direction. Example: you don't have any arm muscles. You will work out your biceps, then triceps, then your shoulders. It is the beginning, and nothing will be perfect, but there will be plenty of time for adjustments later. It is a fun environment at the gym. I find that it is a very motivating place to be, and once you see others, it will keep you going.

In fact, the most important thing for a beginner is to keep going! Most of the time, they think that they are not seeing any results and their reaction is going in the wrong direction, giving up. But it's just the beginning, you will obviously not see amazing results in the first week you attend the gym.

They should always come prepared, that is having gym clothes and shoes, a water bottle, a lock to keep all their things away and earphones are optional for listening to music. Having a plan is very helpful, because you will have something to rely on and you will never be lost in your workout. You need to make sure you eat before your workout, because you need plenty of energy for a successful workout, do not workout with an empty stomach! Then, your daily meals should change, what you eat definitely affects your workouts. Going on a diet from high calorie foods would be a good change. Also, eating foods that contain protein after a workout is very helpful, because they build and repair tissues of the body. In my opinion, protein bars and protein shakes are both very delicious, and they help you in ways that other foods or drinks can't.

Until next time!

The Correct and Incorrect Way to Workout

Hello! I'm still hoping many of you are reading my posts for further knowledge and understanding. This post will teach you the correct and incorrect way workout certain muscles.

Beginning with legs, they are the main muscle in our body. Girls usually take most care of their legs, meanwhile to guys, it is the upper body. When you are setting yourself up in a machine, you want to know that there are instructions to how to place your body and if those precautions were not advised, serious injuries could occur. Knowing that, the machine tells you what to place first. Example: The Squat Machine. It is a machine to workout the glute. You take the amount of weights you would like and place them on each end of the bar, pushing them fully on to the machine. Keep in mind that the amount of weights is the exact same on each end to assure stability. If you were to use multiple discs, use a collar to secure the bar so that the weights would not fall of the end, which is very rare. Then, you place your arms separately and begin squatting. You must make sure not push on your quadriceps, because the goal of this machine is to strengthen the glute. Relating this to me, I have madde mistakes with this specific machine, because I kept on putting more and more effort into my legs, rather than my glute. I began realizing later, that my legs, precisely my quadriceps, where in the process of becoming stronger and more defined, and not my glute. Certain things to consider would be not to arch your back too much, because that could later cause lower-back pain.

Generally, the correct ways to workout would be the instructions on the machine. The incorrect ways would be pushing on a muscle that should not be working. Usually the machines are named by which muscle it will be working on. Finally, once you enjoy working out, everything will most likely work out! It is not hard to do follow the instructions and there will always be personal trainers that are making sure everything goes well. Once you notice they way people do their training, it will not be hard to go try it out for yourself. Thank you and keep reading my blog!
