Goodbye, Keep Working Out!

Sadly, this blog has come to an end. It was very fun and joyful experience to get my opinion out there to you guys about something I love, working out. Talking about something you love doing, and inspiring others to do it, is always easy and fun. I like how I got to mention many important things and I hope that you all learned something. I am truly glad that your comments were all positive and you all had something interesting to say that really made me look at things in a different way. It's funny because I was moderating all of your comments, if you know what I mean. Anyways, working out is a great daily activity and you will never hear someone regretting a workout, there's always positivity coming out of it. A little reminder of what I had talked about, such as the good and bad ways to workout, why and how to stay motivated, the different types of bodies and workouts, and a couple of interesting facts. Also, for the post of the essential nutriments, I find this photo to be related in a funny way:

It is a great idea to consider the information that I had mentioned earlier in other posts.
I find it a funny and convincing way of encouraging others to eat healthy. I really enjoyed writing about it and I hope to be reading many of your blogs, as well as commenting on them! It takes blood, sweat and tears to achieve your goal. Do not give up,and most importantly, keep challenging yourself! No one can workout for you, you are on your own. I hope to see more blogs about physical health and people's improvements. I love you guys and thank you so much! Stay healthy, do it for yourself! Good-bye and work hard!

Interesting Facts About Working Out

Hello!
Here are a couple of interesting facts that I find would be fun and good to know. I will also share my opinion through each one, linking them to my anterior knowledge and experience. They are useful for everyone, on a regular basis, and not just people who are interested in getting fit.

1- Sweat releases dirt through your pores which reduces acne and breakouts. Also, workouts improve the overall look of your skin.

Firstly, I want to say that I personally find this interesting to learn. That is because some people may have been trying to prevent their chances of getting acne and perhaps using some certain products. Also, they now know that working out improves the look of the skin! From experience, I find that it keeps the skin lookinf fuller and more together, which is great.

2- Listening to music improves your workout by 15%.

I never knew there would be a an actual percentage to how much our workout could improve. But from experience, I know that it really keeps you going and pushes you. When you listen to music, your mood changes, you become a happier person. Keeping in mind that it is obviously not sad music! I actually have a playlist on my phone of only my workout music, so that I can save those intense and fast types of songs for my workouts. I recommend doing that so you would be more focused and not listen to the same music all the time because these is no way you will be motivated.

3- Working out improves your brain performance and sharpens your memory.

There are cells who are created by cardiovascular exercise. Those would improve brain power and activity. Having your brain work in a stronger way just by working out is pretty impressive in my opinion.

Finally, working out can't get any better. All it requires is dedication and it pays off so well in the end. I hope these couple facts send a message to everyone that might be struggling with acne, because it improves the look of the skin, or even have a weak memory, because it will strenghten it.
Until next time!

Don't Give Up, the Beginning is Always the Hardest!

Hola!
This post is entirely dedicated to beginners! Obviously getting used to a new activity in your daily life is interesting and you would want to make sure you know what your doing in order to not look like a fool. Well, you will eventually look back and be like, "ohh yeah I was doing that so wrong!" I would know from experience! Anyway, just like the title, the beginning is always the hardest and that's what could motivated you!

To begin, you just have to start with something your familiar in, something your very good at. That is because you will learn a little about how things work at the gym. Everything will take its time. Once you decide on your strengths, find something you want to improve upon, and start moving in that direction. Example: you don't have any arm muscles. You will work out your biceps, then triceps, then your shoulders. It is the beginning, and nothing will be perfect, but there will be plenty of time for adjustments later. It is a fun environment at the gym. I find that it is a very motivating place to be, and once you see others, it will keep you going.

gym

In fact, the most important thing for a beginner is to keep going! Most of the time, they think that they are not seeing any results and their reaction is going in the wrong direction, giving up. But it's just the beginning, you will obviously not see amazing results in the first week you attend the gym.

They should always come prepared, that is having gym clothes and shoes, a water bottle, a lock to keep all their things away and earphones are optional for listening to music. Having a plan is very helpful, because you will have something to rely on and you will never be lost in your workout. You need to make sure you eat before your workout, because you need plenty of energy for a successful workout, do not workout with an empty stomach! Then, your daily meals should change, what you eat definitely affects your workouts. Going on a diet from high calorie foods would be a good change. Also, eating foods that contain protein after a workout is very helpful, because they build and repair tissues of the body. In my opinion, protein bars and protein shakes are both very delicious, and they help you in ways that other foods or drinks can't.

Until next time!

The Correct and Incorrect Way to Workout

Hello! I'm still hoping many of you are reading my posts for further knowledge and understanding. This post will teach you the correct and incorrect way workout certain muscles.

Beginning with legs, they are the main muscle in our body. Girls usually take most care of their legs, meanwhile to guys, it is the upper body. When you are setting yourself up in a machine, you want to know that there are instructions to how to place your body and if those precautions were not advised, serious injuries could occur. Knowing that, the machine tells you what to place first. Example: The Squat Machine. It is a machine to workout the glute. You take the amount of weights you would like and place them on each end of the bar, pushing them fully on to the machine. Keep in mind that the amount of weights is the exact same on each end to assure stability. If you were to use multiple discs, use a collar to secure the bar so that the weights would not fall of the end, which is very rare. Then, you place your arms separately and begin squatting. You must make sure not push on your quadriceps, because the goal of this machine is to strengthen the glute. Relating this to me, I have madde mistakes with this specific machine, because I kept on putting more and more effort into my legs, rather than my glute. I began realizing later, that my legs, precisely my quadriceps, where in the process of becoming stronger and more defined, and not my glute. Certain things to consider would be not to arch your back too much, because that could later cause lower-back pain.

Generally, the correct ways to workout would be the instructions on the machine. The incorrect ways would be pushing on a muscle that should not be working. Usually the machines are named by which muscle it will be working on. Finally, once you enjoy working out, everything will most likely work out! It is not hard to do follow the instructions and there will always be personal trainers that are making sure everything goes well. Once you notice they way people do their training, it will not be hard to go try it out for yourself. Thank you and keep reading my blog!

Different Types of Bodies and Workouts

Hey again!
Throughout this post, my opinion will be mentioned about the different types of bodies and workout schedules, and the simple 15-35 minutes workouts. Firstly, there are some for each muscle in the body. Here are some examples of some for the abs, glute and legs.

As you can see they are simple and very easy to follow. I personally enjoy doing them every once in a while, because it's fun and entertaining. There are some levels that could either be easy for beginners, normal for people who workout regularly, hard for experts, and extreme for athletes. I find these schedules are useful because they could be a way to keep you organized in your schedule. Some people have difficulty in either keeping track of their schedules, or even doing a workout twice. You may sometimes forget what you were planning on doing, so if you organize yourself a nice schedule, and there will be no problem. Also, there are different types of bodies. The 3 main types are, ectomorph (very thin and hard to gain weight, fast metabolism) which is me, endomorph (basically the opposite of ectomorph, large and round), and mesomorph (best type, easy gain of muscles, similar to ectomorph with their metabolism).

Adding on, do not forget that you can change your body type, you are never stuck in a particular type. Personally, I find this helpful because when you know what type you are simply by taking a look in the mirror, you will know what you need to improve upon. You will realize that you either need a new meal plan, or to do more cardio, or even simply focus on building muscles depending on your body type. It all starts by getting motivated.

Here is an example of an ectomorph, and his transtition to becaming a mesomorph:

Here is an example of a endomorph, becoming a mesomorph:

Finally, there goes an example of the perfectly shaped body, a mesomorph:

These people have worked hard to get to that body. They are all different at the start, but they pushed through, and the work payed off. I hope this post was useful to most of you, and that you guys are liking my posts so far!

The Essential Nutriments

Hello!
A couple of you have already wondered if I will be mentioning the nutriments needed, and how they are helpful, as well as certain healthy meals, well here it is! This post is particularly for this subject and hopefully all your questions, from the comments, will be answered. To begin, the main drinks people tend to use, are gatorade, protein shakes, water, and perhaps chocolate milk. Well, some people say gatorade is unhealthy due for the amount of sugar it contains, but it is VERY energetic. It was also rated the world's #1 sports drink! I personally love the taste of all the flavours, and definitely the effect of it has on me. There are many flavours, such as rain berry, lemonade, cool blue, fruit punch, citrus cooler, etc... Although, the type of drink you put to use, depends on the number of hours you commit to at the gym. Example, if you were to spend 1-2 hours (average), water is sufficient for your type of body. Supposing to if you are more the intense type, and spend 3 or more hours, you will necessitate the drinks which contain more sodium and calcium, example: chocolate milk. Also, for the intense category, protein shakes play an important role.

Moving on to some healthy snacks after a workout who could be put to good use:

1) The combination of hummus and pita bread: Hummus providing carbohydrates and protein.
2) Yogurt with a fruit of choice: Yogurt helps build muscle, recommended after a workout so that your muscles are stretched out, which will make it easily done.
3) Protein bars/granola bars (the ones with less layers of chocolate): They help with weight loss and obviously provide protein.

I absolutely love these three snacks, reason being because they all have a great taste, and I enjoy eating them. Hummus is also a good snack, not simply for people who train their bodies, but also as a daily meal. I hope that this post was able to answer questions, stay tuned!

How do I Stay Motivated?

Welcome back!
Now that we are aware of why we should become motivated, here are ways of how we could stay motivated, and keep fitness our main focus in mind. Firstly, we should know what we are trying to get to, our goal. It could either be to lose weight or to gain muscles, or it could be both. There are other reasons of why people workout, such as to improve their breathing, boost up their energy or even memory, lower their anxiety, etc... Once we know what we are trying to reach physically, we make a schedule. We could google what we are supposed to do, but there will be no need for that unless you are trying to find a specific schedule of a certain muscle, but besides that, I will be saying generally what to do, so you will just have to follow me!

In order to loose weight, cardio is what is mostly recommended. To begin, cardio, is physical exercise which makes the heart start pounding at fast pace, working hard. I consider cardio very fun and from my personal experiences, you will begin realizing that you will want to run more on the treadmill. Also, if you were to keep track of your scores, which are the amount of miles, speed and time it had taken, you will improve and you will want to keep going while running to simply beat the last run you had ran. You will keep challenging yourself. There are other options to cardio machines acting as the treadmill, like mentioned before, the stairs, the elliptical, etc... Furthermore, there aren't only machines for cardio, there are schedules as well! Take a look at this picture below.

Instead of focusing mostly on machines, you could follow a schedule that does the same effect. Moving on to gaining muscles, you are able to use every machine at the gym, as long as you follow the couple instructions, (which are usually on the front) mentioning the proper way to use that machine in order to not pull a muscle or cause other harm to your body. There is always the option to grab the weights on the side and create your own exercises. Also, each machine works out a specific muscle, and you will apprehend that there are machines you will like much more than others. That is because you could be doing something on a daily basis that already works out that muscle and you haven't even realized, and the weight you had set up on that machine is heavy, unlike other muscles.

Besides, other ways to keep moving are to try to be inspired. Make an effort to watch some youtubers' videos and look at others people's before and after pictures. You can surely find the schedules they used. Also, think of the future body you will have. That should be very motivating and helpful. Keep a picture in mind of a body you want to look like to keep you going.

Finally, enjoy it! Make it fun! If you stick to a same schedule all day everyday, you will get tired of it and you will want to try something new. Find other schedules, spice it up a bit, and it will be more entertaining for yourself. Try to challenge yourself!

Why Should I Become Motivated?

As mentioned earlier, I will talk about why we should become motivated to workout and get that perfect body. In my opinion, it is very important because firstly, it affects our health. It is very healthy and decreases many risks of heart disease, high blood pressure, and cardiovascular diseases. I think these are important to consider, knowing that there are many fast food restaurants know a days, and they cause much harm towards our health.

Speaking about fast food, if you are they type of person that eats from fast food restaurants daily and without doing much or any exercises, it will lead you to obesity and then you'll become more and more lazy, and there is a chance that obesity can also cause death. I know that this is not something we look forward to, especially when our main goal is getting fit. I also think that obesity is not so attractive. Also, you will age early and then life becomes harder and the opposite of what we want begins to happen, such as a lower self-confidence and a not so toned body. Although, we could have cheat meals every once in a while, but not always. Therefore, my thoughts are to try our best to not eat from unhealthy places and plus we all don't want to age early. I also know that working out causes a lot of physical changes, and for the best.

There's another reason, confidence. I think it's enormously important that we feel confident in our own body, and once we achieve results we will have a higher self-confidence. The reason why, is because without self-confidence, we are not pleased nor ever satisfied with ourselves. Also, there will always be the thought of thinking we could have done better, and that we didn't try hard enough, and it's not such a great feeling. Working out will take every bit of motivation we've got, and we will have to deal with it, in order to become the greatest we can!

                                     CONFIDENCE IS KEY

Lastly, we should workout for the feeling we get just after our workout! It's an amazing feeling, trust me, I know from previous experience. You feel like you've done such a great achievement in your life, and imagine that feeling. Yes, it's true later on, we will feel extremely sore, but hey, workout today for a better tomorrow! That soreness will eventually leave the body after a couple of days.

Welcome to my Blog!

Welcome to the fit world!
It is important to workout and stay fit, but what's more important, is that we are capable to maintain that same amount of motivation from the beginning and all the way through the process, to reach our goal.

Motivational Video by Ahsley Nocera

Before I begin, I wanted to give a little introduction to you guys about Ashley Nocera. She is a World's Beauty Fitness and Fashion (WBFF) Pro. The reason why I am giving this information, is because she is personally my inspiration. You guys will notice that many of my pictures will be about her. She is a great and entertaining person, you can check her youtube videos to know more about her if you would like. Anyway, this blog will contain many information such as why people should become motivate to working out, how they should stay motivated, the essential nutriments they may need, the different types of bodies and workout schedules, the correct and incorrect way to do specific workouts, the muscles trained, etc...

                                                   FOCUS

I personally find working out very important because we build a lot more muscle than when we play a certain sport. When we work out, we are capable to make each and every muscle in our body grow, unlike sports. There are many muscles in the body, and there is no sport in the world that works them all out, or helps to develop them all.

                                              STRENGTH

An example of a sport is soccer. In that sport, the main muscle which is developing are the legs. The arms are not in the process of growing, nor becoming stronger. It is true that the players use their arms to stay in control of the ball and have balance, but their arms are not strong. Although, there is a sport which is the nearest in making each muscle grow, it is swimming. Swimming helps develop the back, legs, arms and most of the major muscles. But once again, it can't because there are always minor muscles who need specific ways to be trained, in order to grow.

Working out gives you a lot of confidence. It will all start to feel better and you will notice that you will start taking it as a habit. Until next time!
